From legendary names in the Blues, to today’s stars and tomorrow’s greats – this episode of the program has it all. There’s new release music from Cyril Neville, Indigenous ft. Mato Nanji, and more. In addition, I’ve got another track from that previously unreleased Arthur “Big Boy” Crudup session, and the debut of hot new artist Valerie June!

The featured selection from inside “Johnny’s Mailbox,” this week, is “World on Fire” by Sean Chambers. It is the opening track from his brand new album The Rock House Sessions, which is available from Blue Heat Records. Time will tell, but this album may go down as Sean’s best. Aside from the great music, the album features guests including Etta Britt, Grammy winner Tom Hambridge on drums, and Reese Wynans – who played keys on The Rock House Sessions and produced the record!
