The featured selection from inside “Johnny’s Mailbox” is “Howlin’ in the Moonlight” by Studebaker John’s Maxwell Street Kings. The song comes off their latest album Kingsville Jukin’, which is available from Delmark Records. The album is a call back to the sounds that Studebaker John heard on Maxwell Street as a youngster, when Chicago’s famed open-air market was filled with raw Blues music. Kingsville Jukin’ features 16 songs, and it is available in both CD and mp3 formats from a variety of retailers.
