The Blues Foundation, this week, announced the 2014 class of inductees into their Blues Hall of Fame. This year’s class is a very well rounded and very deserving list of artists, albums, songs and more. The inductions are led by a class of artists that include R.L. Burnside and Eddie “Cleanhead” Vinson.
Induction ceremonies are held, each year, as a part of Blues Music Awards week. This year’s Hall of Fame ceremony takes place May 7, 2014 inside the Sheraton Memphis Downtown in Memphis, Tennessee.
This is a big year for the Hall of Fame, as architects are said to be putting the final touches on the design phase of the physical hall of fame, which will provide a permanent home to honor the inductees who have been saluted over the years.
