Full-Time Blues Radio Celebrates the 2014 class of the Blues Foundation’s Hall of Fame by playing the music that made them great!

It’s a very rare occasion when you will hear vintage recordings on this program, but this is one of the few times each year when “the place to hear tomorrow’s legends today” honors today’s legendary names, the men and women who built the foundation for the Blues music you hear on this show every week. The 2014 class of the Blues Hall of Fame includes artists, albums, songs, a book, and individuals who work behind the scenes to keep the Blues alive. Click Here to See the Complete List!

This week, the radio program features music from every artist, album, and song going into the Hall of Fame in 2014, including Howlin’ Wolf, R.L. Burnside, Charley Patton and the rest. In addition, there’s a bonus track, Big Mama Thornton and “Hound Dog.” That song is in honor of Don Robey, 2014 Blues Hall of Famer who owned the Peacock label and released “Hound Dog” in 1953. There’s number one hits, influential songs, and a live recording of Eddie Shaw captured at the 55th Anniversary celebration of Delmark Records! Congratulations to all of this year’s Hall of Fame inductees. – Johnny Full-Time
