Listen: Episode 1411 – Solo Blues

Stream This Episode On Demand

Think about Robert Johnson recording some of the greatest Blues songs in history unaccompanied. Now, think about Son House and his amazing acapella version of “John the Revelator.” Some of the greatest examples of Blues music have been by individuals performing alone, whether with simply their voice, or as they play an instrument. That tradition continues today, with a new crop of standout solo performances.

This week on Full-Time Blues Radio, we’ll spend the hour enjoying solo Blues from a variety of artists. There’s solo instrumentals, individuals playing and singing, and even one man bands!
