The Blues Foundation held their 35th Blues Music Award ceremony on May 8, 2014 in Memphis, Tennessee. The event is held each year around this time, and provides a unique opportunity to Blues stars and fans to mingle amongst one another while enjoying awards presentations and live performances. The marathon event runs into the early hours of the morning, as the family reunion style atmosphere provides folks the opportunity to see others they haven’t seen since the previous year’s awards. The awards ceremony was captured for broadcast on Sirius-XM’s BB King’s Bluesville channel. Be sure to check for dates and times.

Also, keep an ear out for our recap of the winners on Full-Time Blues Radio, where you’ll hear songs by many of the folks who took home trophies last night. Of course, for more information, to join the Blues Foundation, or to make a donation – Click Here to Visit Blues.org
