This week’s featured selection from inside “Johnny’s Mailbox” is “Never Finished Nothin'” by Brad Hatfield. The song comes off Brad’s latest album For A Change, which is available now through his official website.

Brad has overcome true Blues in his life to be recognized as a star on the rise. The Cincinnati-based artist began playing guitar at age 10, but was forced to give it up at the age of 25, following a tragic accident that left him paralyzed. The injuries Brad sustained left him with limited use of his hands, but he remained true to his devotion for the music and learned to play harmonica. Already an incredible vocalist, Brad Hatfield became a top flight harp ace, as well, and earned a 2013 Blues Music Award nomination in the category of Best New Artist Debut for his 2012 album Uphill From Anywhere.

With this new record, For A Change, Brad has teamed up with Tom Hambridge to craft a terrific follow-up. Brad has two songwriting credits on this album, as well, including the song featured this week inside “Johnny’s mailbox.”
