The featured selection from inside “Johnny’s Mailbox” is “Rescue Me” by Amy Helm. It comes off her solo debut record, Didn’t It Rain, which is available now. It has been a long journey to this record’s ultimate release. The creation process had stops and starts while Amy navigated major life events – one of which being the loss of her father, Levon Helm, who was a significant part of the CD. Levon played drums on a couple of the songs before he passed away in 2012; and he is listed as the executive producer.
