This week’s show features a wide variety of Blues styles represented, and a selection from inside “Johnny’s Mailbox” that delves into the realm of Jazz. The show is filled with big name acts, including the new albums by Royal Southern Brotherhood and Robin Trower, as well as songs from Jim Suhler, Delbert McClinton, and Rodney Crowell! In amongst those artists and bands are indie darlings like Sunday Wilde and Low Society.

The featured selection from inside “Johnny’s Mailbox” is “Geronotlogy” by Little Charlie and Organ Grinder Swing. The new album it comes from is an organ based Jazz disc titled Skronky Tonk, a long time dream project for the former namesake frontman of Little Charlie and the Nightcats. Charlie Baty recruited fellow former Nightcat band members Lorenzo Farrell and J. Hansen. Skronky Tonk is available now from Ellersoul Records.
